Each week of the curriculum unlocks after you have completed the previous week and allowed 7 days to pass. This is intentional — your pet needs time to practice and absorb each week's lessons before moving on. Rushing through a training program is one of the most common reasons people don't get results.

It is never too late. The 6-Week Standard Program works with dogs of any age. Older dogs can absolutely learn new behaviors and break old habits with the right approach and consistency.

Pro Coaching gives you everything in the standard plans plus the ability to send messages directly to a trainer and submit videos of your training sessions for professional feedback. It is the closest thing to having a personal trainer in your corner without the cost of private in-person sessions.

Download the app, create your account, and complete the onboarding questionnaire. We ask about your pet's age, breed, personality, behavior challenges, and your lifestyle so we can recommend the right program and personalize your experience. The whole process takes about five minutes and your first lesson is ready immediately after.

Just basic information about your pet — their name, age, breed, gender, and any behaviors you want to work on. You will also choose your preferred daily training time so the app can build a routine that fits your schedule.

Yes. Guiding Paw supports multiple pets and you can create individual profiles for each one. Each pet gets their own training program, progress tracking, and health records so nothing gets mixed up.

No problem. You can set up separate profiles for each pet and follow the appropriate program for each one. The dog and cat programs are entirely separate and customized for each species.

The Daily Routine Builder lives on your dashboard and helps you build a consistent daily schedule for your pet including walks, training sessions, engagement games, and enrichment activities. You can check off each item as you complete it so nothing gets skipped.

The Live section covers your pet's daily lifestyle and wellness. It includes a GPS exercise tracker for walks, a grooming schedule, meal logging, and other daily care tools that help you stay on top of everything beyond just training.

The Bond section is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between you and your pet. It includes engagement games, enrichment activities, socialization challenges, and confidence-building exercises that go beyond basic obedience and deepen the connection between you and your pet.

The Learn section is the heart of Guiding Paw. It is where your structured, week-by-week training curriculum lives — built by professional trainers and designed to take you and your pet from the basics all the way to real-world off-leash reliability.

Yes. Your dashboard shows your current training streak, overall program progress, completed lessons, and which week of the curriculum you are on. Staying consistent is easier when you can see how far you have come.

Yes. Guiding Paw uses industry-standard encryption to protect all personal information and payment data. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

Yes. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through the app or your app store account.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Settings section of the app.
